This time, it was outdoor work.  Who knew what a talented bunch of gardeners we have here at MML Dublin.

Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families at their unique residential site in County Kildare, and in hospitals and schools throughout Ireland. At Barretstown they believe that every child with a serious illness should enjoy their childhood.

Barretstown helps rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness, and their families by providing life changing therapeutic programmes in a safe, fun and supportive environment. When a child is seriously ill, their life becomes about everything they can’t do anymore, and they can stop feeling like a regular child, even when they physically start to get better, the psychological scars of their illness, or that of their siblings, can remain, eroding confidence, diminishing self-esteem and coping skills. Barretstown empowers and encourages each child to step out of their comfort zone and rebuild their confidence through our medically endorsed therapeutic programmes. They start to discover the magic of being a child again.
