The business

Schivo Medical is a leading outsourced medical component contract manufacturer.

The deal

Originally established as a multi-industry outsourced component manufacturer, Schivo Medical repositioned to focus on the medical and life sciences sectors in 2016. The business operated from a well invested facility with long-standing, blue-chip customer relationships in a market with strong growth dynamics. MML Ireland invested alongside an industry leading team, led by Graham Reeves, to use Schivo Medical as a platform for organic and acquisitive growth. Graham wanted an equity partner to support an ambitious growth agenda and create an equity incentive plan for the wider management team. Since investing, Schivo Medical’s organic business has grown significantly and it completed its first acquisition, SSP in the US in early 2021.
