How did your upbringing influence your desire to get into private equity?

Growing up, I spent my summers working in my parents' business where I saw first-hand how interesting, rewarding and challenging being an entrepreneur can be. This gave me an appreciation for everything that's involved in growing and running a business and I knew I wanted to work in this environment in the future. Private equity offers a great opportunity to do this by working closely with entrepreneurs and management teams who want to grow their businesses.

Name five things you couldn't live without.

My family and friends, my yoga mat, my kindle, some sunshine, and good food.

What does life look like when you leave the office?

I will usually be playing tennis or golf with friends, maybe going to a gym class, or going out for food.
