What do you think makes MML unique from other equity houses?

To be honest, we don’t compare ourselves to others too much, we just do our own thing. That is, excelling at partnership investing. That means, knowing where the "line" is between being a supportive (and challenging) investor without getting too involved in running the businesses. Being investors and shareholders, not managers. We have a collaborative ethos, among ourselves and with business owners and managers.

What do you believe is your most important role as an investor?

Our investors are our customers. So our most important role is to invest their capital wisely and within the investment mandate we have agreed with them: to support the growth of leading, ambitious small and medium sized companies on the island of Ireland.

Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

It is still hiding if I do….maybe the talent is, actually hiding!
